The effects of remanufacturing on inventory control

This thesis addresses the control of joint manufacturing, remanufacturing and disposal operations in a product recovery environment. Besides the (exact) analysis of various inventory policies the thesis considers a case study of a remanufacturing facility at Volkswagen, Germany.
