The ISIE Student Chapter Board is happy to announce the beginning of the 2022 Student Chapter Board Elections!
Five student board members’ terms are due to expire on 31 October 2022, and the nomination and election process for new student representatives is now open!
Nominations are requested for the two-year term from November 2022 until October 2024. This year, five positions will be elected.
As a part of the Student Chapter Board, new members can expect to perform a variety of functions, including acting as liaisons between the student community and the ISIE Council, representing student interests, and organizing various networking, collaborative and fun events for the student community. We also spearhead the organization of the Symposium on Industrial Ecology for Young Professionals (SIEYP) for the Leiden 2023 conference. In addition to this, we advance several initiatives in the ISIE community, like the diversity and inclusion initiative. Members of the Student Chapter Board are elected to a group of peers who effect changes and bring new initiatives to life in the ISIE community.

Any ISIE Member may nominate any student (please note that membership not required at this stage). Share with your friends and colleagues!
University advisors and professors - get your students involved! And if you are a student, you are warmly invited to nominate yourself or other deserving students to serve on the ISIE Student Chapter Board of representatives.
Please note that nominees can be students in any related program, on either the Masters or PhD degree tracks.
The deadline for submitting nominations is 23:59 (11:59 pm) UTC, on Tuesday, 20 September 2022.
