Young Researchers Seminar

The Young Researchers Seminar offers an informal, supportive environment to present current work, exchange ideas, and build up professional networks within the Industrial Ecology community. The focus lies on sustainable material cycles and related methods such as Material Flow Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment, and Criticality Assessment. Whether you are developing your research design, discussing methods, or preparing results for publication, this seminar is an excellent opportunity to receive constructive feedback and meet your peers.

Who should participate?

  • Graduate Students, PhD researchers, and postdocs located in and around Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, working in Industrial Ecology or related sustainability fields.

What to expect:

  • The seminar will be held in English
  • Short presentations of ongoing research
  • Peer feedback and open discussion formats
