2022-2025 Board Members:

  • Oludunsin Tunrayo Arodudu Co-chair (State University of New York, College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry)
Dr. Oludunsin Arodudu is a researcher at the State University of New York, College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, Syracuse, New York. He applies life cycle sustainability assessment tools, methodologies, indicators and frameworks for evaluation of bioenergy and other renewable energy systems. His current research interests include tools and strategies for landscape and resource efficiency, circularity of materials, and sustainable bioeconomy. Oludunsin has a BSc. in Geography (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria), MSc in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation for Environmental Modelling and Management (Lund University, Sweden and University of Twente, Netherland), and a PhD in Geoecology (University of Potsdam, Germany). Oludunsin is currently a Board Member of the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment Section of the International Society for Industrial Ecology.
  • David Font Vivanco Co-chair (Eco Intelligent Growth)
Environmental Scientist and M.Sc in Industrial Ecology by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and M.Sc in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management by Universitat de Barcelona. Obtained his Ph.D from Leiden University with a thesis on environmental rebound effects. Since then he has been a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University and University College London. Currently a Life Cycle Sustainability Manager at Eco Intelligent Growth.
  • Andrea Hicks
  • Paul Wolfram Board member (Joint Global Change Research Institute)
Paul Wolfram is a researcher at the Joint Global Change Research Institute where he conducts integrated assessment of energy systems and decarbonization scenarios. Prior, Paul graduated with a PhD from the Yale School of the Environment and gained practical experience as a researcher at the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany. Paul’s work aims at understanding the complex sectoral interactions and (unintended) environmental consequences of the global energy transition. His work has been highlighted in The New York Times and the IPCC’s sixth assessment report.
  • Peter Berrill Board Member
Peter Berrill is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technische Universität Berlin, where he currently works on a 2-year MSCA individual fellowship on the SUFFFICCS project. The main objective of SUFFICCS is to develop and demonstrate a framework for integrated modelling of service levels (m2 floorspace, passenger-km), energy demand, and emissions from urban buildings and transport in Europe. Peter obtained a PhD in industrial ecology from Yale School of the Environment, where his thesis focused on pathways and opportunities for decarbonising the residential sector in the US. He served as a contributing author to the Buildings chapter of the IPCC sixth assessment report.
  • Qingshi Tu Board member (University of British Columbia)
