Dr. Qian Zhang currently works in the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining at Queen's University, Canada. Zhang is an industrial ecologist interested in minerals value chain, material circularity and criticality, and sustainable urban systems. His research focuses on carbon footprint assessment and policy-oriented modelling of other environmental pressures (natural resource depletion, water scarcity, air pollution, solid waste, etc.) on the built environment at multiple scales.Research Interests
