About
PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh, building dynamic life cycle assessment models for commercial buildings to track decarbonization pathways under climate change and grid transitions.
Details
PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh, working with Dr. Melissa Bilec at the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation. I build dynamic life cycle assessment models for commercial buildings, tracking material flows, energy use, and grid decarbonization pathways across a multi-century horizon. Lately I'm digging into sequential retrofit decision-making, embodied carbon, and decarbonization of heating and energy systems. Always happy to connect with the ISIE community!
Research Interests
Dynamic Life Cycle Assessment (DLCA), material and energy flow analysis, urban building energy modeling, grid decarbonization, energy decarbonization, climate scenario analysis (IPCC AR6/SSP), building stock modeling, embodied carbon, sustainable retrofit decision-making, nature-based solutions, green infrastructure
