Xueyue Hu holds a PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Earth System Science, Tianjin University. Her research utilises dynamic material flow analysis to investigate regional sustainable development and circular economy strategies. Specifically, she examines the resource and environmental footprints of services, products, and materials relative to planetary boundaries. Her work has been published in journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews and Energy.
