About

Research Associate at the University of Calgary specializing in industrial ecology, renewable energy, life cycle assessment, and sustainability of energy systems.

Details

I am a research Associate at the University of Calgary in the Department of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering. My research focuses on industrial ecology applications in energy and sustainability, particularly life cycle and techno-economic assessment of biomass-to-energy systems, including bioLNG and wood pellets. I have extensive experience in multi-scale modeling, process intensification, and environmental impact analysis. My work includes cradle-to-grave LCA of bioenergy systems, sensitivity analysis on fugitive methane emissions, and dynamic biogenic carbon accounting. I have published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in energy, chemical engineering, and environmental sustainability journals. I actively collaborate across academia, industry, and policy sectors to advance sustainable energy solutions.

Research Interests
