Loide is a globally recognized, award- winning International Civil Servant Engineer working at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), specializing in advocacy, design, development, and implementation of technical cooperation climate adaptation and mitigation projects worldwide, with a particular focus on Youth & Gender Equality Initiatives, Portuguese-speaking African countries, and under-developed/developing nations. Additionally, Loide serves as an Honorary Associate at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP). She is passionate about policy-making for the transition to low-carbon economies, climate change advocacy and international relations concerning climate adaptation and resilience.
