I am currently reading for an MSc in Waste Management and Circular Economy at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. I hold a BSc (Special) in Industrial Management with First Class Honours from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.My academic and research interests lie at the intersection of industrial ecology, circular economy, and waste management systems. I am particularly interested in applying concepts such as the waste management hierarchy, material productivity, and circular material use to assess sustainability performance at macro and meso levels.
My ongoing research engages with quantitative and policy-oriented approaches, including circular economy indicators, socio-economic metabolism, and evidence-based sustainability assessment, with a strong focus on developing and emerging economy contexts.
In parallel, I am involved in undergraduate teaching support as a Temporary Demonstrator at the Faculty of Technology, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, contributing to management- and sustainability-related modules. I aim to pursue an academic and applied research career in industrial ecology, circular economy, and sustainable resource management.
