About

Founder of a Marseille-based circular economy company implementing a closed-loop cooking oil system: supply of professional frying oils to restaurants combined with structured collection and valorization of used cooking oil. The project aims to transform urban waste streams into local energy and industrial inputs through industrial ecology and territorial resource optimization.

Details

I am the founder of OLYMPE, a company based in Marseille developing an applied industrial ecology model within the HoReCa sector. Our system combines the distribution of professional cooking oils with the structured collection and valorization of used cooking oil. The long-term objective is to operate a local transformation facility converting waste oil into biofuel and other industrial outputs, creating a circular urban resource loop.

The project focuses on practical implementation of industrial symbiosis at city scale: reducing pollution, optimizing logistics flows, and turning waste into measurable environmental and economic value. We are currently working on scaling operations, building partnerships with environmental institutions, and exploring collaborative research opportunities related to waste valorization, circular logistics, and territorial ecology.

Our goal is to serve as a real-world implementation case for industrial ecology, demonstrating how commercial infrastructure can integrate environmental systems thinking without sacrificing economic viability.
