About
As an Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) research fellow at Cornell University, my primarily focuses on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of seaweed-based biorefinery products, including bioplastics, biofertilizers, cosmetics, construction materials, and biofuels. I excels at developing and applying LCA and techno-economic analyses, modeling supply chains, and identifying key environmental impacts across the various production stages to guide strategies for climate mitigation, carbon sequestration, and low-carbon bioproducts. I possess extensive expertise in LCA modeling, mass and energy-balance modeling, statistical analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration, which drives my innovation of low-impact seaweed-based products and the promotion of circular bioeconomy. With a PhD in Industrial and Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, my research combines innovative modeling frameworks and environmental sustainability goals. Motivated by the global energy transition, I collaborate on projects that integrate scientific rigor with practical applications to drive impactful change in sustainable manufacturing and energy solutions
