About

Independent sustainability consultant and researcher bridging digital innovation, governance, and organisational change. PhD candidate in Digital Transformation and Sustainability with experience across academia, consulting, and international projects.

Details

I work at the intersection of digital innovation, sustainability, and governance, combining academic research with professional practice to enable equitable and systemic transformation.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Digital Transformation and Sustainability at the University of Westminster’s Westminster Business School, complementing an MBA in Digital Innovation and Management. My academic work focuses on how digital technologies and organisational governance can support fairer decision-making, accountability, and sustainable performance. I teach strategic management at undergraduate level, strategic innovation at MBA level, and deliver executive education on sustainability strategies and organisational culture.

I am actively involved in two research communities at Westminster: the Research Centre on Peripheral Populations and the Digital Business Research Centre. Since 2025, I have collaborated with colleagues in the Research Centre on Peripheral Populations on the Horizon Europe proposal Beyond Compliance: Unlocking the full potential of Social Value and Natural Capital for SMEs (Cluster 6). Our aim is to design a decision-support tool enabling SMEs to integrate social value and natural capital into core strategies — turning compliance into competitive advantage.

Professionally, I practise as an independent sustainability consultant, focusing on environmental, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB), organisational culture, and digital transformation. This allows me to bridge research and practice: diagnosing governance gaps, supporting cultural change, and shaping data-informed strategies so that organisations can embed sustainable ways of working.

A defining focus of my work is on middle managers as change drivers: I design tools, checklists, and playbooks that help them embed sustainable practices within everyday processes. This emphasis connects well with the ISIE community’s applied, interdisciplinary ethos: linking research, practice, and policy to accelerate systemic change.
