I'm professor of economics (emerita) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Research Interests
My research is about strategies for sustainable development. I am especially interested in water availability, water quality, water use, and associated technologies. I consider decentralized and distributed design options for public infrastructure, including water infrastructure, to be especially important to enable development and assure flexibility and security.
