I am doing a public PhD with Bærum municipality and NTNU in Norway. The topic is circular economy within the municipal building sector, specifically the reuse process of existing construction materials. The PhD started in 2023 and is planned to be finalized by the end of 2026.
Details
I have a bachelor's degree in engineering in Renewable Energy (2013-2016) and a master's degree in Energy and the Environment with a specification on Energy Use in Buildings (2016-2018) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. From 2018 to 2023, I have worked as an environmental consultant at Bærum municipality within the Property Department. In 2023, I started the public PhD (industrial PhD) with Bærum and NTNU with the topic "Circular economy in the municipal sector - reuse of construction elements from demolition to construction".
