Ayazhan Nurpeiis is a master's candidate in Environmental Systems Engineering at the School of Environment, Tsinghua University, supported by the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship. She specializes in industrial ecology and environmental data science. Ayazhan’s academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the China University of Petroleum, where she graduated with honors.

Currently, Ayazhan serves as an Environmental Services Specialist for the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate, where she supports initiatives aimed at achieving global decarbonization and resilience goals. Her prior experience includes a role as an AI Pilot Course Teaching Assistant at Tsinghua University, where she facilitated the integration of artificial intelligence into environmental systems applications. Ayazhan further honed her expertise through her internship at the China National Environmental Monitoring Center, specializing in ecological remote sensing and policy-driven environmental monitoring.

Her research leverages advanced analytical tools such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge graph visualization to analyze policy frameworks like the European Green Deal. This interdisciplinary work aims to uncover synergies, predict trends, and promote sustainable transitions globally. She has been recognized for her academic excellence and leadership through numerous awards, including the WANG TAO Scholarship and “Outstanding Graduates” honors.

In addition to her research and professional roles, Ayazhan actively contributes to global dialogues on sustainability and climate action through platforms like the “World Youth Development Forum” and the “XI Model SCO Youth Conference.” She is committed to fostering innovation in sustainability science and policy, making significant strides in integrating environmental systems engineering with practical policy solutions.
