About

In my PhD research, I developed scenarios to model passenger vehicle fleet in the UK and their role in our evolving transportation and energy systems. I investigated the environmental trade-offs of various passenger fleet pathways, incorporating resource strategies like shared mobility, battery second life, and closed-loop recycling. My goal was to understand the entire journey of battery materials and the vehicle fleet's environmental impacts from start to finish. To achieve this, I employed a holistic and dynamic approach to material flow analysis (MFA) and life cycle assessment (LCA).
