About
I am a second-year PhD student in Economics at Waseda University, focusing on environmental policy design and industrial decarbonization. I possess strong quantitative skills and am proficient in Matlab, Stata, Gams, and R, which I have applied to my previous research projects.I am open to opportunities as an intern or researcher for LCA, Input-Output analysis, CGE analysis, or as an Economist. I am available for remote cooperation or onsite positions (with VISA support). If you are interested in my profile, please contact me at Yayue21@akane.waseda.jp.
My current work involves analyzing the impacts of carbon pricing on the electricity sector in Japan using a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model. My previous projects include carbon footprint assessments using Input-Output analysis, conducted network analysis on industrial carbon footprints, and simulations of the mitigation potential of the transportation sector with CGE model. Additionally, I conduct causal inference analyses to explore the relationship between electricity access and social capital. I am eager to collaborate with teams dedicated to the quantitative analysis of environmental impacts and the enhancement of sustainable development.
