Details
Lynette Cheah is an Associate Professor of Engineering Systems at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and an affiliate with SUTD’s Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities. She is interested in pathways towards sustainable mobility, particularly in congested urban environments. Her research develops data-driven solutions to reduce the environmental impacts of passenger and urban freight transport. Recent projects include a study on urban logistics, and mapping of city-scale commodity flows. She is a member of Singapore’s Public Transport Council, Associate Editor of the Journal of Industrial Ecology, and Review Editor for the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report.
