I'm fascinated about innovations and their role towards a more sustainable and fairer society. My work focuses on innovations in Water Systems and Biotechnology, for which I seek to understand the their embeddedness in a socio-technical system and thus contribute to a more responsible innovation processes. For this, I develop and apply participatory research and design approaches building from the fields of Responsible Innovation, Industrial Ecology and (Bio)Process Engineering. I have experience with methods like Value Sensitive Design coupled with MFA, ex-ante LCA, techno-economic analyses, amongst others.
