The research objective is to develop a framework based on circular economy principles to enhance resource efficiency in the construction sector. The research also aims to develop a holistic understanding of waste management from the perspective of life cycle assessment, estimating building material stock using material flow analysis, and thereby proposing future interventions for sustainable infrastructural development of urban areas.
