Marian Chertow is Director of the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology and Professor of industrial Environmental Management at the Yale School of the Environment She is also appointed at the Yale School of Management and formerly for 20 years at the National University of Singapore.
Research Interests
My research and teaching focus on industrial ecology, business/environment issues, circular economy, waste management and island industrial ecology. I am best known for my work on industrial symbiosis involving geographically based exchanges of materials, energy, water and wastes within networks of businesses globally.
