About

I have a core interest is in construction materials with a past focus on bitumen and bituminous materials (asphalt), leading to an expertise in bitumen ageing, asphalt self-healing and road constructions. I apply my interdisciplinary skills and knowledge to conduct new research and address environmental and implementation issues. Currently I am working on a project evaluating the circular economy in the asphalt road construction sector to holistically determine environmental, economic and social connections influencing circular material flows.
