Claudia R. Binder is Full Professor in the Laboratory for Human-Environment Relations in Urban Systems at EPF Lausanne, Switzerland. Her research interests lie in analyzing, modeling and assessing transitions towards sustainability. She develops inter-and transdisciplinary methods to depict the key aspects of the ecological and social systems, analyze their regulatory mechanisms, and assess scenarios and policies from a sustainability perspective.
