I am a professor in industrial ecology at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at the University of California Santa Barbara.
Details
I was trained as an environmental engineer (B.S. and M.S.) at Ajou University, South Korea. I earned my PhD at Leiden University, the Netherlands. I worked for Carnegie Mellon University as a lecturer and for the University of Minnesota as an assistant professor, before joining the Bren school at UC Santa Barbara.
Research Interests
I am interested in solving sustainability challenges through developing systematic understanding of the interactions between technology and the environment.
