Following 15-years of consulting in the private sector, I research scientific and management approaches for environmental and social sustainable development. I focus on resource sustainability, includes minng and minerals, and making commodity materials like steel and concrete -- and ensuring responsible access to materials like helium, tungsten and tantalum that are critical for the transition to the emerging global "minerals economy".
