I am Assistant Professor in Circular Economy at Utrecht University. I believe that Industrial Ecology is essential in the efforts to tackle the problem of pollution by plastics rather than focusing on end-of-pipe mitigation interventions. I enjoy creating collaborations to increase resource efficiency and material preservation. I have been a Co-Investigator in numerous European and international projects and enjoy working with students and supervising thesis projects. I came to academia after various roles in industry and helped set up the erstwhile Fuel Cells UK industry association.
