I'm an Architectural Engineer, from Rome originally. Currently a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh at the school of civil and environmental engineering.

I graduated in Rome at La Sapienza University. I got my master in Architectural Engineering (Ingegneria Edile-Architettura), with a mater thesis oriented at the reuse of industrial archeology structures in the city of Rome. In the next years I worked for both architectural firms (MC Architects and Henderwick Design)in Bologna, Italy, and Hamilton, New Zealand, and consulting engineering firms (Studio Speri Società di Ingegneria and 3TI Progetti) in Rome. I could build a background in BIM from a design perspective and also from a construction point of view.
I have been a teaching fellow for the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand, for almost two years. I taught Timber Design and Construction, and tutored for the civil engineering school capstone projects.

Research Interests

I am interested in Urban Metabolism and Sustainable Urban Planning.
