Dr. Andrea Thorenz is leading the interdisciplinary research group of the Resource Lab at the Institute of Materials Resource Management at the University of Augsburg, Germany. She is also an active member of the Centre for Climate Resilience there. Her main focus is "Industrial Ecology". After her studies of environmental and socio-economics, she worked as a project leader and director of studies in the health sector for many years. In her PhD thesis she evaluated a Case Management Project for women with breast cancer. Since 2009 she is a Senior Researcher and member of the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Materials Engineering and is interested in working for environmental and resilient-oriented research ideas.
