About

Since 2016, I am interested in the topic of circular economy, and more specific place specific approaches to circular economy and circular area development. I am a 'hybrid researcher', because I did my undergraduate studies in geography and political ecology and my graduate studies in industrial ecology. Industrial ecology provides tools and measures for circular economy and circular area development (to optimise existing structures, technologies, buildings, practices... that should stay), but these tools should be complemented with other fields, like geography, design studies and innovation management, (to phase out structures, technologies, buildings, practices... that should be phased out for a more sustainable world).
