The Sustainability in the Urban Environment program at the City College of New York is now searching for an instructor for one of the program’s key courses: Industrial Ecology and Life Cycle Analysis. This is a Fall 2019 course that would begin in late-August, 2019 and meet weekly on Monday evenings for the duration of the semester (at the CCNY campus in West Harlem, New York City). We aim to hire an adjunct instructor for Fall 2019, but with the potential for longer-term employment.

Our Sustainability in the Urban Environment program is a 30-credit Master’s program—an interdisciplinary program that draws upon architecture, engineering, science, and social sciences. For an overview of the program and the curriculum, see CCNY Sustainability Program. The Curriculum tab will show you the curricular context for the Industrial Ecology and Life Cycle Analysis course. If you click on SUS 7300C: Industrial Ecology and Life Cycle Analysis you will see a sample syllabus that shows how the course has been taught in the past. There are of course various ways to present the material, and innovative new approaches would be welcome.
