The Sustainable Supply Chains and Bioeconomy Unit’s mission is to provide independent evidence in support of EU policies on the clean and green transition, such as circular economy and bioeconomy, towards sustainable and resilient supply chains.
This position aims at enhancing a competitive EU bioeconomy through harmonised methodologies and data for assessing the environmental footprint and circularity of bio-based product systems, including substitution potential.
