Your Responsibilities

  • Independent research and contribution to research projects in the field of corporate sustainability strategies, corporate purpose and sustainability, implementation of corporate sustainability strategies or sustainable business models
  • Publication of research results in international scientific journals
  • Presentation of research results at international scientific conferences
  • Active contribution to the working group of Prof. Baumgartner (Corporate and product sustainability)
  • Possibility to work on a habilitation
  • Participation in the application process for third-party funded projects
  • Independent teaching and conduction of examinations in English and German
  • Participation in the supervision of theses
  • Professional and organizational supervision of students
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures

Your Profile

  • Completed doctorate/PhD in the area of environmental systems sciences, sustainability sciences or management
  • Excellent theoretical and methodological knowledge in the fields of management, corporate sustainability strategies, implementation of corporate sustainability strategies or sustainable business models
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
  • Very good IT skills
  • Experience in applying quantitative or qualitative methods of empirical social research
  • Successful publications in international peer reviewed journals
  • Scientific curiosity and interest in working on innovative research questions
  • Experience in university teaching
  • Experience in acquisition and management of research projects (desirable)
  • Enthusiasm for scientific work and for working with students
  • Independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

We offer an annual gross salary of € 69,060.59 for a fulltime position.
