A postdoctoral research position is available for expertise in LCA, with focus area of different emerging technologies related to solid waste and water circularity. We are seeking a researcher who can collaborate on LCA efforts and apply it in a variety of related projects in the domains of water recycling, Li recovery from desalination Brine, and new waste to energy technology. This position requires a strong LCA background as well as familiarity with concepts of resource circularity, emerging technologies, and scale-up scenarios development.
The position will be funded by Tel Aviv University in collaboration with different research teams within the university and across different institutions. The successful candidate will work closely with diverse research groups led by Professor Vered Blass (Industrial Ecology) from Tel Aviv University. Responsibilities of the applicant include developing assessment models using openLCA and databases in different scales. Contributing to project reports and publishing in peer-reviewed journals will also be expected.
Funding is available for 18 months. Extension might be possible based on performance and project development. A monthly stipend (tax-free) will be paid according to the Tel Aviv University post-doc stipend levels.
