Teaching materials for an introductory LCA course

Qian Zhang
Dear colleagues,

Does anyone have any recommendations for LCA textbooks or free materials (e.g. toy models and database) for online teaching?
The learning objective is to enable engineering undergraduates to perform a process-based LCA from scratch.
I can find some resources on different websites, but I'd like to know some recommendations or critique from you to help choose a proper one.

I use OpenLCA free database for the class to conduct LCA exercise. (https://nexus.openlca.org/databases)

The IO section shares teaching materials for complete courses on a closed dropbox folder (to avoid issues with copyrights). I suggest to do the same for the LCA section.

We've just updated our section site with some basic LCA teaching resources, but Edgar's idea for a closed dropbox folder is good. I'll bring it up at our next board meeting. https://is4ie.org/sections/lifecycle/pages/36

That's really helpful. I guess some of us may face new challenges in online teaching.

This forum is the exact place for us to share experiences and lessons. Thank you all!!!
