On behalf of the Organising Committee and the ISIE board, it is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 12th International Conference on Industrial Ecology (ISIE2025) of the International Society for Industrial Ecology, to be held from July 1 to 4, 2025 in Singapore.
ISIE2025 welcomes the submission of abstracts to present at the conference. The conference will include parallel sessions for oral presentations, including special sessions organised by participants, as well as poster sessions.
The deadline for abstract submission is 31 December 2024.
Please visit the call for abstracts page to submit your abstracts through the ExOrdo system, where you will also find detailed instructions and list of topics.
We also welcome proposals for special sessions, which are due on 15 October 2024.
The conference theme is interconnectivity – recognising mutual dependencies. This can be between industry, society, governance and the environment, the different scales of human settlements, and, of course, the circular material and political relations that are core to the world view of industrial ecology. During the Singapore ISIE2025 conference, we will acknowledge and promote our connectedness and discuss the challenges the world is facing. We will explore the changes that are necessary to remain within planetary boundaries, and the solutions that could be employed in a technical, behavioural and organisational sense to meet these challenges.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware that there is another conference being held in the summer of 2025. That conference is being held in Barcelona and is called “2nd International Industrial Ecology Conference (IIECON-2025).” It is not the ISIE’s conference!
We believe that this title is potentially confusing and we want to make it clear that this conference is not in any way connected to the ISIE. It is connected with an organization called Wisdom Meetings with which we are not familiar.
Please be sure to look for "Singapore" when looking for information about the ISIE's 2025 conference!
