Abstract :
This event brings together data and modelling experts from our community interested in data
management and data infrastructure. The objective of this session is to discuss future-oriented best
practices for data and software management and infrastructure for the IE community. Specifically,
we will discuss whether there is a need to coordinate further on data and software management
and infrastructures with an eye toward developments in artificial intelligence and digitalization.
This session is important because it addresses the pressing need to improve data sharing and
collaboration in IE. The session takes the form of a round table with a restricted number of invited
speakers experts on these topics and they will interact with the audience to discuss specific needs,
real applications and edge cases.
Through an open forum, we aim to foster dialogue and explore shared pathways on best practices,
and stronger collaborations for software and data management practices in our community.
