Abstract:

If this year's IE day is about these unprecedented environmental challenges, then we must talk about Climate Justice. What does Climate Justice mean? How does it relate to Industrial Ecology? What is your role as an Industrial Ecologist and how can Climate Justice be integrated into our field?

We, master students, invite you, scholars from the Industrial Ecology field to an exploratory brainstorming session to think about the relevance of Climate Justice in our field.

Through exploring and identifying the links between the Industrial Ecology field and Climate Justice themes, our working group aims to bring to light the injustices that may result from transitions in our world. By organising workshops and discussions with individuals related to our field, we want to participate in laying the groundwork to fill this critical gap in the sustainability debate.

We are excited to hear your perspectives on the topic and to connect with you through engaging and critical discussions.

If you cannot make it to the session but would still like to share your thoughts with us, please feel free to reach out by email: tkdwhenu@tudelft.nl
