The aim of the SUS is to engage practitioners and researchers by providing a platform for multidisciplinary systems approaches to understand, plan, build, and manage sustainable, healthy, and resilient cities. At the event we want industry, business, government and academia to reconnect with the global scholarly community, to learn about the latest developments in the field, and to engage with each other in times of the pandemic.

The ISIE SUS section wants you to (re)imagine the research goals and vision for cities across a rapidly changing world. After an initial introduction from our SUS board members, future and current leaders will explore emerging SUS areas of environmental justice, circular economy, digital twins, energy analysis, and resilience.
