Special workshop on "How to teach EEIO" during Ecobalance 2020

Environmentally Extended Input Output Section

Dear EEIO section members,

We are glad to announce that the three lectures of a special workshop on "How to teach EEIO", which will be held as well as our section meeting during EcoBalance 2020 from September 8 - 11 in Japan. The workshop aims to share EEIO teaching skills and experiences with section members for making their present and future lectures better.

Prof. Sangwon Suh (Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, UCSB, USA) will talk his lecture points from the viewpoint of Hybrid LCA. Prof. Shigemi Kagawa (Faculty of Economics, Kyushu University, Japan) will share his points in the context of economic theory, and Dr Arunima Malik (ISA, School of Physics, The University of Sydney) will introduce her approaches to footprint analyses. We hope this workshop will be an excellent opportunity to see how our colleagues are teaching EEIO and discuss what a point of EEIO lecture is.
