We are glad to announce that the 14th ISIE-SEM section conference will be held during EcoBalance 2020 from September 8 - 11 in Japan. The SEM section
meeting will be organized as a special session in EcoBalance 2020 which is an international conference on life cycle thinking started in 1994 and has had over 300 - 400 participants every time.

Dear colleagues,
"Response to recent Coronavirus Disease outbreak"
We express our sincerest concerns regarding the safety of our participants for Joint conference of EcoBalance 2020 and ISI-SEM section meeting, in light of Coronavirus Disease 2019, 2019-nCoV/COVID-19. While there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the situation and predictions for September cannot be made at this point, we, the Institute of LCA Japan and ISIE-SEM section, the hosts of this conference, remain proactive in our measures to ensure that our conference places the
welfare of its guests first.
To allow leeway in participant decisions, we have decided to postpone the deadline of the abstract submissions again. The new deadline is March 31, 2020. Further decisions on conference organization will be made in accordance with up-to-date worldwide current events.
