Greetings Sustainable Urban Systems section members,
This is a call for expressions of interest from the SUS board for hosting electronic panel discussions on matter pertaining to urban sustainability. With 2020 being an important year for addressing the climate emergency and other sustainability agenda items, it is vital that opinions of stakeholders in this realm be publicly shared towards effective solutions to mitigate global environmental impacts.
The proponent of the EoI would serve as moderator, proposing a topic, inviting speakers, and developing panel discussion points. The e-panel would be digitally hosted by the SUS group, providing support on publicity and technical matters related to the digital platform. Topics can be globally or locally relevant, and deal with any issues within the SUS section's stated purpose of disseminating "multidisciplinary systems approaches to understand, plan, build, and manage sustainable, healthy, and resilient cities."
