Academics as well as practitioners should refuse compromises and possible cover-ups that originate from a weak sustainability paradigm, for example green growth and decoupling. This call for papers intends to question the paradigms, models, scenarios and practices that embody sustainability. One may wonder what meaning should be given to the very idea of sustainability and the representations it conveys.
