Nominate candidates for the Gunnerus Sustainability Science Award

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters (DKNVS) are please to invite for nominations to the Gunnerus Award in Sustainability Science. The Award winner receives NOK 1 million (~110 000 euro).

The award honors outstanding scientific work promoting global sustainable development. The aim is to contribute to the strengthening of research and advancing the achievement of the scientific evidence base within the interdisciplinary Sustainability Science.

The Gunnerus Award in Sustainability Science goes to a scholar who has made outstanding contribution to sustainability science within the fields of the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, or technological sciences, either through interdisciplinary work or through work within one of these fields. We are looking for nomination of candidates of exceptional scientific quality and who have shown that their scientific results have been translated into active policy and applied into expendient management systems.
