 I am delighted to announce that we have two sponsored PhD opportunities available at Newcastle University. These are fully funded and open to UK/EU/International applicants. Topics are:

 1. A Toolkit to measure progress against Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable (Supervisors: Prof. Richard Dawson and Dr. Oliver Heidrich)

 2. Global and local supply of nutrients for cities (Supervisors: Dr. Oliver Heidrich; Dr. Natalia Yakovela and Prof. David Manning)
