The voting period for the member proposals presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 30, 2026, as well as the votes to approve the Minutes of the 2025 ISIE Annual General Meeting, the Past-Year Reporting and Forward Budget, and the Proposed New Membership Fees and Membership Category, closed on May 15, 2026.
The results have now been tallied, and we thank all ISIE members who participated in the vote.
ISIE is pleased to announce that members approved the proposal “Expanding ISIE’s Global Footprint: Strengthening Engagement in Underrepresented Regions (Strategic Proposal)”, submitted by Xiangjie Chen on behalf of the ISIE Student Chapter Diversity & Inclusion Subgroup.
We congratulate the proposers and look forward to the positive impact this initiative will have on the Society and its members.
Four additional member proposals were submitted but did not receive sufficient support from the membership to be approved. The ISIE leadership thanks the proponents of these proposals for their effort and initiative in developing and submitting their ideas for consideration. We encourage all members to continue proposing new ideas that can strengthen the Society and support the advancement of industrial ecology.
The membership also voted to approve the Minutes of the 2025 ISIE Annual General Meeting, the Past-Year Reporting and Forward Budget, and the Proposed New Membership Fees and Membership Category.
