I just would like to announce that I have resigned from my professorship at NTNU. I am currently splitting my time between the International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Laxenburg, Austria, and XIO Sustainability Analytics, the company that produces EXIOBASE. In reality, I spend a fair amount of time as member of the European Climate Advisory Board and the International Resource Panel. My plan is to focus my research at IIASA at the sustainability corridor for machinery and equipment as part of a capital-driven model of industrial production, also under the lense of limiting demand.
Edgar Hertwich moves to IIASA
