It is with great pleasure that we announce Christoph Helbig, from the University of Bayreuth, as the recipient of the Laudise Medal for this year. The Laudise Medal, named in memory of Robert Laudise, is awarded for outstanding achievements in industrial ecology by an early career researcher. Christoph has been an active ISIE member since 2015, contributing significantly to the Society's activities. The Awards Committee was deeply impressed by his outstanding scientific contributions, and his dedication to ISIE has not gone unnoticed. The committee unanimously agreed that he deserves this prestigious honor.
To celebrate our recognizing Christoph's remarkable achievements in industrial ecology with this award, we are planning to organize an online colloquium with our membership early in 2024. This event will not only recognize Christoph's accomplishments but also feature an online presentation from Ester van der Voet, winner of the Society Prize 2023.
