We’re very excited about several satellite events and activities happening around the conference:
- Arriving early? Please join us at the Welcome Receptionin the Leiden City Hall on Saturday 1 July afternoon. During the reception, Yvonne van Delft (GroenLinks), alderman for Energy, Work and Income, and Culture, will share what Leiden has achieved as a leading municipality for a circular economy, what obstacles there are, and on the importance of circularly educated people. To join the Welcome reception, please register (free of charge) to one of the two timeslots by Friday 16 June 2023.
- Registration is still open to the 1 July satellite workshop "Assessing the criticality of raw materials: understanding the EU list”. In this 5-hours course offered by the IRTC project, participants will be provided with an introduction to criticality and critical raw materials assessment. We will take a deep-dive into the EU assessment methodology and you will learn about its composition, factors, indicators and common data sources. We will also discuss what the recently proposed Critical Raw Materials Act could mean for future critical raw materials management in the EU.
