2023 Industrial Ecology Conference Confusion

There has recently been some confusion around the Industrial Ecology Conferences being held this summer (2023).  Some International Society for Industrial Ecology (ISIE) members have recently been receiving invitations to speak at an industrial ecology conference scheduled to be held in September 2023 in Paris. The title for the September conference in Paris is International Industrial Ecology Conference 2023. This title has caused confusion leading some people to believe that it is associated with the International Society for Industrial Ecology. This is not the case and we want to make it clear that the Paris conference is not in any way connected to the ISIE. We also want to emphasize that the ISIE’s conference this summer will be held in Leiden, the Netherlands July 2-5. We hope you can attend the Leiden Conference.
